On December 15, our friends at the Waste Connections of Canada (Toronto Waste Connections) generously donated a total of 34 bicycles along with helmets!
The employees at Waste Connections of Canada raise money throughout the year to purchase the bicycles directly from the manufacturer. Their goal is to deliver bicycles to those who need them the most and never had the opportunity to ride one.
This is the second consecutive year that our Agency has received the bicycle and helmet donations, and we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all those involved – we know they will be appreciated.
The bikes were received by some of our dedicated staff and board members and will be distributed to the deserving children, youth, and families that our Agency serves.
