On February 22, 2025, York Region CAS will be taking part in the annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk in support of local charity, Inn From the Cold.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific, family-friendly walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and housing insecurity. By walking in the cold, we get a chance to experience a hint of the challenges faced by those unhoused during the winter. For those interested in fundraising, you will also be contributing much needed money to an organization bringing hope and help to the people in our communities who need support.
The Coldest Night of the Year isn’t just a walk; it’s a powerful movement that has raised over $75,000,000 since its inception in 2011, supporting 190 communities across Canada.
