In June, the York Region Children’s Aid Society’s Corporate Services Department held a team day at the Newmarket Public Library where the team had a chance to strengthen their relationships and bonds with their colleagues through team building activities.
The YRCAS Corporate Services Department is pivotal and far-reaching. At the heart of the team’s efforts is their commitment to ensuring that every child, youth and family, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the support and resources they need to thrive. Corporate Services plays a crucial role in upholding this commitment by providing the essential business infrastructure, systems, and support necessary to deliver effective and equitable services.
Amongst the fun interactive games that took place during the day, the group also had important discussions regarding the roles that they play in ensuring that the support that they offer is equitable to all the children, youth and families that our Agency serves.
