On Monday, February 20, York Region Children’s Aid Society celebrates Family Day, and recognizes the diversity of all families and communities.
As part of Family Day celebrations, York Region CAS would like to highlight Foster Care and the York Region Children’s Fund.
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a foster parent, York Region CAS’ next interactive information session will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 7-8 p.m. You can RSVP to confirm your attendance by emailing: fostering@yorkcas.org.
Foster parents provide stability and a caring home that can help to encourage the growth and well-being of children and youth. The program at York CAS works to ensure that children and their foster families have the support and resources they need.
You can also make an impact today by donating to The York Region Children’s Fund. All donations help children and youth who are supported by York Region CAS maintain their cultural identities, stay connected to their communities and further their education in their chosen path – high school, college, university or a trade apprenticeship. Every donation counts and has a positive impact.
