On November 17, the York Region CAS Youth Events Committee (YEC) held its annual Youth Holiday Celebration at Dave and Busters in Vaughan.
The yearly celebration provides an opportunity for our Agency and our youth to get together and celebrate the holiday season with meaningful conversation, delicious food, and a variety of entertaining games.
Emceed by members of the Agency’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC), this year’s event also highlighted many of the resources developed by the YAC in collaboration with the Agency such as the Know Your Rights and How to Advocate Booklet.
Each youth that attended also received gift bags with various items courtesy of Henry Schein Canada and Grace Foods Canada that were prepared by the YEC.
